Birthday Shout Out | Celebrating A True Benue Entertainer | Joseph Igomu. ''SPITZ''.

I celebrate a big time entertainer of my generation........ Joseph ....first of seven children born to the family of CHIEF AGADA IGOMU AND CATHERINE IGOMU (LATE) at Wusasa Hospital..Zaria Kaduna State.....2nd September ....Joseph Igomu grew up and spent all his life in Makurdi/Gboko/Abuja.He schooled at St Gabriels Seconadry school makurdi where he discovered ,trained and groomed the famous living music legend Tuface Idibia and Blackface.Everyone around Makurdi town  knows Spitz as he is fondly called.


Schooling in Benue around the 80s and early 90s everyone knew Spitz as a dancer,a DJ,a choreographer and an entertainer.Talk of the latest dance step in town,you have to wait for Sptiz to come for a show to your school with 2face and others just to release the latest dance step.Spitz took Tuface and around with others to school competitions,performing allover and winning prizes for MSG,some of the boys he groomed are Saaondu Asan ,Terna Nomhwange,Emma Adukwu,Stlyes [my cousin].Those days as DJ ,at Laquxote Night Club,he used to take Tuface

At Benue State University where he studied Theatre Arts,he still took his talent to the institution,his name still echoes in the school,how he coordinated Theatre Week successfully can never be forgotten.
He continued in his talent doing entertainment stuff even after school.Spitz was also used for the first Glo Advert when it was launched,if you remember the guy who shot the starting gun during the advert,it was Spitz.He has organised and hosted a couple of events in Benue like ,Benue Must Laugh,Independence Carnival,Dance reality show and others .
Recently Joseph took a bolder step by initiating the 60 WOMEN ON FIRE an event that appreciated women touching lives,yours Fabulous[ ME] was a recipient.
