Endless Queues At NIMC For ID Card Registration.[Eye Witness Report]

The National Identity Management Commission (NIMC) has moved the commencement date for the compulsory use of the National Identification Number (NIN) from September 1, 2015 to January 9, 2016,The initial deadline date of 31 December caused panic for people mostly in Abuja,many people rushed to the registration centres to register,some were however unable to do so due to long queues.Eye witness reports that most people were tired of waiting and had to leave.Continue to see more
