Imelda J Drops Single In Honour Of Late Idoma Voice Associate Editor, Ameh Jerry .

Music star and Jisoro crooner, Imelda Adah Okwori, otherwise known as Imelda J has dropped a single in honour of Idoma Voice Associate Editor, the late Ameh Jerry.
The song entitled Oyine is currently enjoying a massive airplay across radio stations in the country.
Oyine, a heart-renting song is also topping charts on many online music portals both at home and in the Diaspora, among music lovers.
Imelda J, in the song described the sudden transition of Ameh as a sad and unfortunate.
The singer however expressed hope that everyone who was closed to the late Jerry would surely reunite with him on the last day.

Oyine equally bemoaned the unfulfilled dreams and people the deceased left behind.

She also gave submission to God, the giver and taker of life. "I will cry no more, the giver has taken what belongs to him," a line from the song says.
According to her, she was very sure that the late writer was resting in the 'city of love and peace' with God who is author and finisher of our faith.
In a brief chat with Idoma Voice Entertainment, Imelda J recalled the moments she spent with Mr. Ameh who passed away February 6.

"The last time we saw was last year November during the burial of Tuface Idibia's father in Benue State.
Honestly, Jerry was fun to be with. Always smiling and friendly. He hardly talks but whenever he speaks, you will sure roll on the floor due to his sense of humour.
"I feel the pains of his brother, Ameh Comrade Godwin. Both of them were like Siamese twins until death took Jerry away.

"The song Oyine is dedicated to him. I believe he is resting in the bosom of the Lord where there is no more death and tears.
"I urge his brother, Comrade never to give up on the dreams they had. We are behind Idoma Voice family and we want to see them rule the newsstands as they have been doing," the charming singer added.
In a swift reaction, Idoma Voice special Project Director, Ekre Christian in a statement signed on behalf of the publisher, Ameh Godwin, thanked Imelda J for standing by Idoma Voice family right from the day Jerry passed.
"We can't express how happy we are for this beautiful song dedicated to our late Associate Editor, Ameh Jerry by our very own Imelda J.

"On behalf of the entire staff and management of Talents Voice Media, I thank her and pray God to give her voice like that of celestial beings," Ekre added.
