Atiku Abubakar { Zege Mule U Tiv} Describes Late Tor Tiv As An Epitome Of Peace, Unity.
Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar and Zege Mule U Tiv,has described the late Tor Tiv, Dr Alfred Akawe Torkula, as an `epitome of peace and unity.’
A statement released on Friday in Abuja, stated that Atiku condoled with the royal family, the Tiv nation, the people and government of Benue state over the demise of their `illustrious monarch.’
He said that office of the Tor Tiv was important for peace and harmony not only in Benue state, but in neighbouring states such as Nasarawa and Taraba, where Tiv formed a significant part of the population.
