Centre For Food Tech & Research BSU Presents E-Learning International Workshop 2015.







E-learning is hot. And for good reason. If done right, it can produce great results by decreasing costs and improving performance. Also, unlike a one time classroom session, the elearning course is available for others. This includes the static e-learning course as well as any ongoing conversations in networked communities.
Benue State University, Makurdi is one out of ten (10) Africa Centers Excellence (ACE) in Nigeria and one out of eighteen (18) such Centers in West and Central Africa Sub-region.

Benue State University, Makurdi won this World Bank grant after a stiff competition involving more than 100 Universities in this Sub-region.the grant is worth $8.Million and will cover a period of five year. The World Bank brought the project to address the problems of Higher education in West and Central Africa which has not been a priority for the past two decades.

Through the project, Students in supported institutions and their partner institutions from across West and Central Africa will benefit from quality research-based education which is in high demand.

Also, Companies, governmental and non-governmental organizations that partner with the Africa Centres of Excellence (ACEs) will gain from more interns, graduates will be trained in more relevant areas and from more relevant applied research to their business. Faculty and staff in the ACE will benefit from improved teaching and research conditions and through fully funded training to improve the capacity of the ACE.

Method of Registration: Participants should complete the registration form online by;

5. Click on Confirm and Complete to submit your details.
Proceed to make Payment of $50 or N10,000 for Students and $100 or N20,000.00 for Others either online or to the bank in the participant’s name with the following details; Bank Name: Skye Bank, Account Number: 4060008195, Account name: BSU CEFTER. Participants can also send their scanned teller or payment evidence to cefterworkshop2015@bsum.edu.ng for further processing. Participants can also pay at the venue of registration. Please note that there are limited seats.
