The office of SSA to the Governor on Youth Affairs, Mr Sunny Nyior in collaboration with King's Wealth Energy Ltd, have been given the rights from the Ministry of Arts, Culture & Tourism to run this year's Benue Youth Carnival.This was disclosed at the formal unveiling which took place in Makurdi at the Lush Event Centre.

The theme for this year's carnival is :''Youths As Drivers Of Our Cultural Values''....Meanwhile, forms for the Carnival Queen Beauty Pageant are on sale at Fidelity Bank at the cost of N20,000 only. The star prize for the winner is a Hyundai jeep while the 1st runner up is going to be the Face Of Teriel Benue'

According to the organisers, this year's carnival promises to be the bang....as Activities lined up include ;

1st Dec World Aids day,

 2nd -6th Dec Rehearsals at Ibb for procession,

 7th Dec official lighting of the Carnival village at Ibb, 

9th -12Dec, Benue Fashion Fair Competition, 

13th -22nd Carnival competitions, Carnival Jam, Carnival Talent Hunt, Family competitions, 23rd Dec Carnival Queens pageant contest at AIK. 

29th Dec Carnival Procession,

 30th Dec Kiddies Funfair,

 31st Dec -1st Jan 2016 All christian Cross Over night at Ibb square Makurdi,
