The billionaire businessman who flew hundreds to Johannesburg, South Africa for the second leg of his 81st birthday shocked his wife and many of his guests, when he invited the King of Zulu, HRM Goodwill Zwelithini kaBhekuzulu to present the papers of a palatial mansion located in the Saddlebrook Estate, Kyalami, South Africa to his wife!

Many of the guests had been invited to attend the 81st birthday dinner scheduled for the Sandton Convention Centre and were therefore not aware that the stylish Esama of Benin, fondly called Esama of the Universe, had such a magnificent property in the Rainbow country.

Our sources revealed that the guests were first taken on a tour of the property which is a picturesque gothic building with massive columns, well-laid lawns and since it is located in South Africa’s horse country, it had stables that the Igbinedions will certainly convert. The layout and the furnishing are stunning and grand, our sources revealed.

There was a prayer session to open the property after which Chief Igbinedion informed everyone that he has specially invited his friend, the Zulu King to make an announcement and he passed on a white envelope to the South African monarch.

King kaBhekuzulu read the legal documents of the property and it was revealed that Chief Igbinedion had in actual fact given the mansion to his Jamaican wife, Lady Cherry on behalf of the Thompson Family Foundation!

Lady Cherry Igbinedion (nee Thompson) was so excited at this shocking gift and expression of love by her husband and she promised to take good care of the property. Interestingly, her eldest daughter, Omosede already has her own section of the mansion-and she happily showed pictures of her classy abode on instagram last week.

Chief Igbinedion stated that he decided to present the documents which were only ready a day before on September 17, 2015 as his appreciation for the love and support that he had received over the years from the ever cheerful, British-trained Lady Cherry
