[Pictures].Just In :Benue Youths Protests As Government Cancels This Year's Benue Carnival.

Some Benue youths are currently protesting the cancellation of this years Benue Youth Carnival at the IBB Square chanting  protest songs  of "WE NO GREE"  matching through the streets of Makurdi to Government house round about.The youths are protesting the decision by the government to cancel this year's carnival without compensating them.

It will be recalled that most activities and celebrations have been cancelled due to the death of the tiv Monarch ,Late Alfred Akawe Torkula[Tor Tiv].But the youths,who have had a month-long training ,spending money on transport and other logistics are disappointed as government have decided to cancel the event without compensating them.Click to see more pictures.
