With the ongoing race for Edo state Governor Adams Oshiomhole's successor, photos of Nollywood actress Mercy Johnson's husband, Prince Odi Okojie are being circulated by his friends and fans endorsing him for the post. The awareness is being made through some Edo and Nigerian political forums on the internet. Although Prince Odi Okojie has not come out personally to speak about this development yet, a visit to his Facebook page tells of his involvement in political activities. Photos of himself and his supporters as well as campaign posters can be seen flooding his page. Some are saying the rationale behind this is because the PDP gubernatorial front runner Pastor Ize-Iyamu has promised to run a Government that carries the Youths along, thus, the choice of Prince Okojie.
