President Muhammadu Buhari departed Nigeria for the United Arab Emirates in the morning of Sunday, January 17. The Nigerian leader is set for a three-day official visit to Abu Dhabi.
He is a special guest of honour at the 2016 World Future Energy Summit, January 18-21, hosted by Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Zayed Al-Nahyan of Abu Dhabi. Ban Ki Moon, the secretary general of the United Nations, and many more global leaders will be in attendance at the event.The Nigerian delegation includes Lt. Col. Alhaji Jalal Arabi, the permanent secretary at the state house, Solomon Arase, the inspector general of police, several other dignitaries saw the leader of the nation departing to the energy summit.
This is president’s second foreign trip of the year, after his official visit to Cotonou, Benin, for the 11th summit of the Niger Basin Authority on January 8.
