Supreme Court To Decide Gov Ortom’s Fate On Friday.

The Supreme Court has on Monday, January 11, slated next Friday to deliver judgment in the appeal brought before it by the candidate of the People Democratic Party (PDP), Dr. Terhemen Tarzoor – against Governor Samuel Ortom of the All Progressives Congress (APC) – in the April 11 governorship election in Benue State, against the decision of the Court of Appeal which dismissed his appeal in November,

The seven-man justices of the apex court, presided over by Justice Walter Onnoghen, fixed the date after parties in the matter adopted their written addresses when the matter came up on Monday, January 11, 2016.
Tarzoor had lost at the Elections Tribunal and the Court of Appeal and has appealed to the Supreme Court in what he termed questionable judgement.
