Young Woman Freezes To Death After Storming Out Of Party Wearing Nothing But Shorts & A Tank Top

A young Wisconsin woman reportedly froze to death after she left a friend's house and walked underdressed into the freezing cold.
Elizabeth Luebke, who also went by the name Lana Kane, traveled to Milwaukee for a concert and stopped by a friend's place after for a party dressed only in shorts, stockings, and a tank top.

Apparently during the party, Elizabeth got into a bit of a fight with a friend and left the house. A witness said of the incident:
"When she got here, she was really, really drunk and she got mad at her other friend and she stormed out."
When the young girl didn't return to the party, the medical examiner's office reports that a friend called her mother; the worried mom drove to Milwaukee and filed a missing person's report.
The 21-year-old's body wasn't found until 9 a.m. by a passerby.
Sadly, surveillance cameras caught Elizabeth collapsing in the snow near the house around 4:30 a.m. — when temperatures dropped to almost minus 30 degrees with wind chill. It is also reported that friends at the party thought Elizabeth had been picked up and didn't think that she could be passed out in the cold.
Luebke does have a history of drinking as she was hospitalized in October for having five times the blood alcohol limit to legally drive. However, several friends said that she had remained sober for a few weeks.
One friend of her remembered her fondly, saying:

"She's a really sweet person. I hung out with her at another show when I went to Oshkosh. She's a really nice person — a really sweet person. It's really sad. She's only 21. Such a young age."
This is so incredibly awful and our hearts go out to those affected by this tragicdeath.
