Alleged Fraud: Ex-Enugu Commissioner Drags Chime To ICPC.



A Former serving Commissioner for Transport in Enugu State, Engr. Luke Mmamel has dragged former governor, Sullivan Chime before the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offenses Commission (ICPC) over sharing of government quarters to relations, siblings and cronies during his tenure.
Mmamel, who served under Chime, in his petition addressed to the ICPC, dated June 1,2015 a copy of which was obtained by ‘New Telegraph’ in Enugu, claimed that Chime Abused his office by giving gratification monetization/sale of No.3 Mount Street GRA to the GOC Nigeria Army Enugu against to the provision of the act.
The Commissioner, who alleged that his property was given out to a former GOC 82 Army Division Enugu by the former governor, is also accusing the army chief of abuse of office for receiving a gift of his official quarters “knowing full well that the allocation is mine.”
