@FRSCNigeria | FRSC Officer Posted To Revenue Office In Benue Introduces Illegal Fees.

With the recent general transfer of officers at Federal Road Safety Commission, [FRSC] across the country,a new officer was also posted as the Sectional Head of Driver's License Unit at BIRS Head Office in Makurdi.
This officer ,according to reports  resumed duties last week and  introduced an illegal payment of N500 each for generation of application forms and Biometric capturing. This makes him earn at least N1000 for any Driver's License successfully processed.

An eye witness disclosed that he walked in with a friend to process his License and they  were asked to pay N500 for application form and both of them were shocked on hearing that and refused making the payment, Upon further inquiries from their acquaintances in the office,they  were reliably  informed that, the man has made it mandatory for payment of at least an un receipted sum of N1000 for every license processed. That even when the BIRS Chairman Mrs Mimi Azape-Orubibi warned the said officer last week Tuesday to desist from such act, he continued his business as if nothing happened between yesterday and today with reckless abandon. 

This is calling on  authorities of FRSC take note and call the said officer to order.
