Mike Omeri Ignores Presidential Directives,Hands Over To His Ally At NOA.

Flaming into notice is the ugly fact that the immediate past DG of the National Orientation Agency, Mike Omeri has by passed the most Senior Staff under the Agency to handover to his stooge and partner, Ngozi Ekeoba.

Until the curious handover, Ngozi Ekeoba a known ally of Mike Omeri was the Director, Political, Civic, Ethics and Values (PCEV) in the National Orientation Agency.
Her elevation over and above her Seniors, while defying a widely publicised Presidential directive, has led to noticeable unrest in the top hierarchy and amongst the lower cadre of the Agency's employee base.

This last act by Mike Omeri while clearly in sabotage of the change agenda, introduces us to a reasonable suspicion of what activities the past DG may have indulged in to the extent he was visibly unsecured in handing over to someone who might not be willing to opaque the dirt and mismanagement that was his lot.
As a people with high regards and expectations on the goals of the Agency with regards promoting patriotism, national unity and development, we can not fold our arms and watch as Presidential directives are defied by a sacked DG acting on very selfish interests. "Do the right thing: transform Nigeria", while being the motto of the Agency, counted for nothing as the sacked DG was persuaded by very personal considerations not minding what becomes of the Agency when Seniority and Presidential directives are less important than his ulterior motives.
We therefore, strongly call on the Presidency to urgently reverse this reprehensible disregard for our Civil service rules as well as the rude snub of an informed presidential directive. If this handover decision by Mike Omeri is let to stand, we would be allowing a despicable act set precedence for others, we would be leaving handover decisions to the selfish discretion of people like Mike Omeri whose motives are questionable.
