The BIPC boss who lamented in an angry mood about the deplorable condition of the property insisted that Benue Plaza which is also used as a liaison office located in such an attractive business environment like Victoria Island, should not be left wasted. He further stated that with the massive development going on at the Eko Atlantic city, the property belonging to the Benue state government will not tap from the business opportunities that are bound to emanate from the mega city.

Mr. Mulya promised to use both political, economic and investment arsenals to make sure that Benue plaza in Lagos is transformed into a befitting standard commensurate with the status of the location, and in a way that BIPC will leverage on the business environment and benefit maximally the dividends of the investments, while attracting more opportunities to the Benue State government.

The new BIPC boss has been on inspection tour since Tuesday 15th March, 2016. He has since inspected BIPC properties in Makurdi, Nassarawa, Abuja and Lagos so far. He has however been dissatisfied with the conditions of various properties and projects implementation. The MD was accompanied on this facility tour by the company`s secretary/legal adviser, Barr. Toryem Terfa and the surveyor/valuer Mr. Ter ESE Akpenkasen.

Benue Plaza was leased to a private company in 2007.
