Gov Ortom Drags Social Media Activist To Court For Defamation & Libel.

Benue State Governor, Samuel Ortom, has issued a notice of court against social critic and opposition activist, Bemgba Iortyom, claiming the sum of N1 billion as damages for defamation and libel.
The governor is aggrieved that a publication by the opposition man on the social media alleging his purchase of a parcel of land for the building of a private university in Makurdi according to the Gov,the allegation is untrue and injurious to his reputation.
