The Senator representing Benue -North West senatorial district,Sen.George Akume  today made his first appearance at a public function since he returned from medical visit to Germany,he was spotted during the fund raising launch for the classroom and examination hall blocks at Mbamtegh Community Secondary School, Abetse, Mbayion in Gboko local government area of the state.In his remarks .Senator George Akume, urged the people of the state to stand behind Governor Ortom to enable him continue with the good work he is already doing. He said only a man of Governor Ortom's discipline and capacity to prudently manage resources would have been able to lead the state after the degree of looting that took place under the previous administration.
