Prince rushed to the hospital after his plane makes emergency landing.

According to TMZ, Prince was rushed to a hospital in Illinois very early Friday morning.
His private jet made an emergency landing at Quad City International Airport so the singer could be taken by ambulance to a local hospital.
Contradictory reports have one source claiming that the singer is "not doing well," while another person stated that the 57-year-old had been released and was fine.
On Thursday night, Prince had performed in Atlanta on his Piano & A Microphone Tour before jetting off, and shortly thereafter needed immediate medical attention.

It is still not known why the musician needed to be hospitalized.
