Flash : Benue SSG flown to Abuja,Ortom optimistic of his recovery.

Benue State Governor, Samuel Ortom has expressed optimism that Secretary to the State Government, SSG, Barrister Targema Takema who is currently ill will soon return to good health.
Governor Ortom stated this at the Makurdi Airport, while seeing off the SSG who was flown to Abuja this afternoon for further treatment.

He said doctors who treated Barrister Takema at the Benue State University Teaching Hospital, Makurdi, had assured him that the State Government Chief Scribe had been stabilised and was improving.

The Governor said the prayers of his administration and the good people of the state are with Barrister Takema to recover as quickly as possible.  He said the daily stress of work faced by government officials does not give them enough time to engage in regular exercises, as seen in the case of Barrister Takema who broke down yesterday.

Governor Ortom encouraged government appointees to make out time at least once a day to exercise, as doing so would keep them fit at all times.

Also at the Airport were former Governor of the State, Senator George Akume, Chief of Staff to the Governor, Hon. Terwase Orbunde, Commissioner for Health, Dr Cecilia Ojabo, Special Adviser on Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Hon. Titus Zam, as well as other top government officials.
