Oprah and Beyoncé Land on 'America's Richest Self-Made' Women List.

Hard work literally pays off (and well) for Oprah Winfrey and Beyoncé. Forbes just released its second annual list of America's Richest Self-Made Women and by no surprise, the media mogul and the music icon just so happen to be included.


To be considered on the list of 60 powerful women who combined have a net worth of $53 billion (!!!), the minumum required individual net worth is $250 million.

Winfrey, who appeared on the list last year moved up who moves up three spots to the second richest self-made woman in the country, which in part is credited to her new ties to Weight Watchers. The talk show queen has accumulated a networth of a cool $3.1 billion.

Queen Bey comes in at #56 on the list and has casually collected $265 million worth of coins just on her own.
Nothing beats an independent woman.
