"Hon Jibrin is a drowning guy. Finished by his own hand, by sheer and absolute greed. This Keana son, resident in Kano, just doesn't cut it.". Hon Hembe defending his involvement in the Budget Padding.
So Hon Hembe's name was mentioned in the budget padding scam which was exposed by -Hon Jubril Mumunni ,
Hembe took time out to respond to Jubril through Facebook, here is what he posted.Read it after cut
Hon Abdulmumuni Jibrin says I and a host of other members including my Speaker, the peoples Speaker, did wrong by requesting that projects in the 2016 budget be situated in our constituencies. What then would be our essence as legislators if we were unable to lobby, to lobby to attract the national purse to our localities or vice versa. That is what parliamentarians as custodians of the purse do. They beg, struggle and even fight to put their people on the Federal map. I lobbied for these projects like I lobbied in the past and got Electricity in Konshisha, Vandeikya township, Koti Yogh and else where. Like I lobbied and got schools built across the constituency, got boreholes, manual and mechanised, got training and empowerment programmes etc for my constituency. They are better off because I have the capacity to lobby.
Hon Jibrin is a drowning guy. Finished by his own hand, by sheer and absolute greed. This Keana son, resident in Kano, just doesn't cut it.
Anyway, he promised that the heavens would fall if he was removed. He has been removed. My eyes are set to the skies, let me see history, let the heavens fall.
Meanwhile, Abdulmumuni, as you read this post, know that I sympathise with you, this will be a long summer break for you. You will spend it unhappy, in the knowledge of the fact that your colleagues don't like you, they think little of you. You must also know that your silly machinations won't help you. Ur biggest problem is thinking that u r smarter than every one else. Hon Femi Gbajabiamila knows u, they know what u are up to and won't warm up to you.
We will rest during this break, when we return, the clear rules of the Nigerian House of Representatives will take their course.
