[Pictures] Nigerian Police bursts Police sergeant and bandits terrorizing communities in Benue state.

The Benue state police command on Wednesday 27th June, 2016 while on a special assignment smarshed a syndicate of bandits terrorizing communities in Benue State at the their base in Gbishe - the home town of a wanted terrorist fingered in the assassination of Gov Samuel Ortom's SSA security Denen Igbana.


The combined team of Operation ZENDA and SARS were ambushed at Ngibo settlement around Katsina Ala-Zaki Biam road by men of the underworld with links to the alleged killers of the late Security aide.

Among those bursted is a police Sergeant ,Kenneth Nguuma who is believed to be their conspirator and informant and of the Katsina Ala Police Division.

Sergeant Nguuma is said to have collaborated with the bandits to lay ambush against his colleagues and in the process, some of the police men sustained injuries but 4 of the attackers who were however overpowered by the superior firepower of the police were shot and arrested are now in custody and giving relevant information about the kidnappings and killings in Benue State.

Their informant Sergeant Kenneth Terhemba Nguuma was shot on both legs in the process and has been tried and dismissed to face criminal prosecution in court next week.
