2 Chinese Workers Kidnapped In Nasarawa

Two Chinese nationals, XJieng AI Jung, 50 and Wenso Ping, 45, have been kidnapped by unknown gunmen in Agada village, Nasarawa Local Government Area of Nasarawa state.



Confirming the abduction, the State Police Public Relations Officer, Ismail Noman told the News Agency of Nigeria on Saturday that the duo who work for West African Polaris Investment were ambushed at about 2.28p.m. on the their way to Abuja.

He said the Police in collaboration with vigilante groups, local hunters and community leaders are on the trail of the kidnappers to rescue the victims.

According to the Police Spokesman, stop and search activities across the state have been increased as he added the State Commissioner of Police have instructed the search team to do everything in their capacity to rescue the foreign workers as soon as possible.
