Bomb explodes outside Brussels Institute of Criminology.

A bomb has exploded outside the Brussels Institute of Criminology after attackers rammed the building with their car.

A vehicle carrying two people is said to have forced its way onto the site in northern Brussels before the attackers scaled a ladder and launched a bomb at the building.
Thick black smoke was seen coming from the laboratories at about 3am this morning and the blast caused significant damage.
The building was empty and no one was wounded. It is not clear what happened to the bombers, who torched their car.
