List of Successful Candidates For 2nd Round BoI YES Programme
The list of successful candidates for the second round of the Youth Entrepreneurship Support (YES) program of Bank of Industry (BoI) has been released.

Financial Watch reported that, in a mail sent out to successful applicants earlier this week, the lucky winners are told to prepare for the second stage of the competition, as they will be required to attend a 3-month online training that will further improve their business skills, enable them develop an effective business model and prepare them to access the Bank of Industry loan.

The online course is intensive and will require commitment as only 70% of those from this stage will proceed to the one week in-class training before being absorbed into the BOI pipeline as preferred applicants for the loan.

Successful candidates are further advised to check their registered email account and the YES-P website for program updates regularly which is of great importance.
The YES Programme is an initiative of the federal government and the Bank of Industry to tackling unemployment in the country which is expected to generate 36,000 jobs for the nation. The YES Programme is also part of the federal government’s drive and wealth creation programme which is aimed at addressing the malaise of youth unemployment.

The programme is targeted at young aspiring entrepreneurs within the age range of 18-35 years, who have a minimum educational qualification of Ordinary National Diploma (OND) or its equivalents.
The first round of the YES Program is ongoing and some successful candidates who have completed the required 18 courses on the African Management Initiative (AMI) platform has been alerted to prepare for the one week in class training. The AMI platform is an e-learning portal educating professionals, entrepreneurs, employees and business owners on business best practices across Africa.
