Gov Ortom appoints new SSA on Security.

Gov.Samuel Ortom has appointed DSP Terwase ANDE retired as new Senior Special Assistant to his govt on special security.
He is to replace late Denen Igbana former Senior Special Assistant to the  on special security who was assassinated in his residence  by unknown gunmen.

Mr Ande hails from Tombo Mbatie,Mbaapen council ward Of Buruku Local government area of Benue.
He joined Nigerian Police Force on  1976 and rose to the rank of Deputy Superintendent of police(DSP) before his retirement  in 2011.

DSP Ande  served the Nigerian Police Force in Abia State command as officer incharge of suspect squad.
Anambra State in Onitsha officer in charge of Anti-robbery squad.
Edo state command officer in charge of Homicide,Benin city.
Officer in charge of Anti-robbery squad,zone 5 Benin.
Benue State command Makurdi officer in charge of Homicide.
Zone 4 Makurdi zonal CID

And Divisional Police Officer Logo Local Govt where he retired in 2011.
Upon his retirement he was appointed special Adviser on security matters to the immediate past caretaker chairman of Buruku Local Govt,Hon Godwin Iorsue in 2015 after which he was appointed Security Peace Committee Chairman on Fulani/Tiv farmers crisis in Buruku. 

A recipient of several awards, prominent among them was Anambra Commissioner of Police Award for  Meritorious Services  for tracking down criminals in 1994.
He is married with five children.
