Governor Samuel Ortom today addressed members of the Nigerian Labour Congress, NLC, who marched to the Benue Peoples House, Makurdi, to deliver the address of the National President of the union to the Governor on the recent killing of some of their colleagues in Nasarawa State.He said....

"I know how hard you worked to ensure that I became Governor. I have no reason to disappoint you and I will not disappoint you. We are trying to source some funds and as soon as we access the money, we will clear the outstanding salaries owed the state and local government workers as well as teachers."I wish to sympathize with you over the death of your colleagues in Nasarawa State. I join the Government and people of that state to condemn the killings."
