Joe-Kyari Gadzama SAN Campaign Organization Rejects Results Of The NBA 2016 Elections.

In a press release made available to TML this evening, the Joe-Kyari Gadzama SAN Campaign Organization has called for an immediate cancellation of the just concluded Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) elections, wherein the Electoral Committee of the NBA released results of the elections, indicating that the learned silk, J.K. Gadzama SAN lost had lost to his opponent, A.B. Mahmoud SAN.





In the document, the Joe-Kyari Gadzama SAN Campaign Organization stated that its reasons for rejecting the results and call for cancellation of same were the failure of the ECNBA to conduct elections that were credible, transparent, free and fair, based on a number of circumstances before and during the elections; and that the elections failed to comply with the provisions of the NBA Constitution and the Electoral guidelines.


The statement by the Campaign Organization which was signed by its Director-General Alh. Garba Mohammed Gajam and its Secretary, Steve Abar ended with a call for a fresh Electronic (and not Internet) elections.
