Let's tell you about Thierry Henry's trip to United's Carrington training base to chat with Pogba + Pictures and more.

All eyes will be on Manchester United's record signing, Paul Pogba, on Friday when the £100million summer signing steps out on the Old Trafford pitch.

After missing out on the clash at Bournemouth due to suspension, the midfielder is expected to make his second debut when the top-flight giants host Southampton.
Ahead of his highly-anticipated Premier League bow, the 23-year-old spoke with Sky Sports pundit and Arsenal legend Thierry Henry about all things United. Here is everything Pogba had to say to Henry ahead of Friday night's clash.Manchester United's record signing Paul Pogba opened up on his move with Thierry Henry

Thierry Henry: So let's start with the start. Obviously you left United as a youngster, now coming back as the most expensive player in the world. Yes, exactly. Why? Why United?

Paul Pogba: First of all, I always loved United to be honest. So I left it, I left it because I wanted to play. I wanted to show the world, to show United that I was ready to play and I was motivated to play. This comeback just showed that I left United, but the power of my heart was still here to be honest.

TH: Thinking about you coming back to United, what will be a successful season?

PP: I want the league, I want the cup, and I want the Europa League too.

TH: You want everything?

PP: I want everything. That would be perfect, you know.

TH: How excited are you, though, to play that first game at Old Trafford?

PP: [sighs] I cannot wait, I just cannot wait. I won't say anything else, I just cannot wait to play with my new team, just to wear the shirt. [TH: Again]. Again.

TH: What about the red [points to Pogba's new haircut, with red lines down the side]. Any celebration if you score, or are you still going to dab?

PP: This is going to be new, there's going to be a new thing. New team, new things.

TH: You must have heard some stories from your Juve times about Zlatan [Ibrahimovic], but how excited are you to play with him? Not only with him, but obviously how excited are you to play with him?

Appearances: 42
Goals: 10
Assists: 12
Minutes played: 3621

PP: It's always good to play with big players, you know. I was lucky, I played with the top players in Juve too. A player like him, he wants to make big things, so you need to have big players. He loves to joke. Every time I see him, he has to say something about my shoes, about my hair. And the way he talks to me, you know. [Imitates Ibrahimovic's voice] Zlatan Ibrahimovic. I am Zlatan. I hope, when you're going to see this, you're going to think about me. He knows today, I was training, he was laughing about my combo on Instagram. You know when I've been training on holiday, boxing and stuff. He said 'This', he goes 'What is this?' I was laughing. 'Come on, you have to give one punch and that's it, you don't have to do this and this'. And the way he's talking, it's just funny. No, he's a very good guy.

Pogba and the former footballer were in high spirits as they discussed his United move

TH: Talking about video... one last thing. What was it like to do that video with Stormzy?

PP: It was top. To be honest, it was very good. Those things with Stormzy, to mix a football player and a singer, it's always good, you know.

TH: Being here, there's something that we cannot avoid to talk about. Sir Alex Ferguson. So where do you stand with that?

PP: Big respect. The greatest manager in football. I don't have any problems with him and I never have. The only problem maybe I had was that I wanted to play. Maybe for him it was too early, for me it was too late, to play again. I was ready. And that's it. I've learnt a lot with him too, so I don't have any problems with him, I respect him, I will always respect him, and I hope to meet him again. That's it.
