Meet the new Managing Director NERFUND,[National Economic Reconstruction Fund]

Dr Ezekiel Oseni was today appointed as the Acting Managing Director of National Economic Reconstruction Fund (NERFUND)

NERFUND was set up to provide needed medium – to long-term financing to viable Small and Medium scale production enterprises. The grand objectives are to increase the quantum of goods and services available for local consumption and export, provide needed employment, expand production base and add value to the economy.

Dr Oseni was until this appointment a General Manager and Chief Risk Officer at BoI.

“He has the mandate amongst others to reposition the organisation and to ensure that all outstanding indebtedness are recovered,” the statement said.

Dr Oseni experience include; Part-Time (Associate) Lecturer, University of Lagos , Nigeria, 2014 – 2014 (Teaching and consulting on "New Business Venture Creation and Entrepreneurship Management" at postgraduate (M. Sc degree) level); AGM, Head Internal Control & Audit Division, Bank of Industry, Lagos, April 2005 – July 2013; Manager, Citizens International Bank, Lagos, Nigeria, January 1999 – March 2005; Lecturer 1, Dept. of Management and Accounting, Faculty of Admin; Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Nigeria, April 1994 – January 1997.
