BIPC donates N380,000 to BCC Lions football club as company's Corporate Social Responsibility aimed at encouraging locals sports.

Benue Investment and Property Company Limited ( BIPC), at Benue Investment House Makurdi awarded BCC Lions football club Gboko now Lions football club with the sum of 380,000 naira for sponsorship as part of its corporate social responsibility.

Performing the award ceremony, the Managing Director Mr Jack Mulya in company with top Management Team of BIPC highlighted the glorious moment of the club and tasked the new management of the Club to put in the best to ensure that the club redeem it lost glory.

The MD maintained that, the award is part of the company's cooperate social responsibility which is aimed at encouraging local sports in the state that will engage the youths positively there by preventing them from involving into negative social vices. He particularly noted that, the company's effort in doing this is in line with the present policy of Governor Samuel Ortom's administration to ensure that youths in the state are gainfully employed and engage in meaningful activities. He assured the club of continued support by sponsoring their competitions and said they should always inform the company of their activities.

Receiving the cheque on behalf of Lions football club, the Chairman of the club, Chief Dzer Waya appreciated the Management of BIPC for finding the club worthy of sponsorship and stressed that, it is the first time the club is receiving such support. He assured them that they would make maximum utilization of the opportunity.

The club Manager also assured BIPC of its efforts to reclaim the lost glory and said with the sponsorship, the team would certainly get back on it feets and will win more trophies in the next season.
Displaying the new jersey with BIPC logo crested on it, Secretary of the Club Mr. Moses Ukpe expressed optimism that the club's morale is boosted and there would certainly be positive outcome in there future outings
