“Supermodels Were My Superheroes!” Kendall Jenner Covers Vogue Australia’s October 2016 Issue.
Vogue discovers why Kendall Jenner is the go-to for the millennial generation.
Kendall Jenner covers the October 2016 issue of the magazine, the 20-year-old spoke to Vogue about following in the footsteps of modelling’s finest.
“When I was a little girl, I was always tall and lanky, and supermodels were my superheroes,” she tells Vogue’s Zara Wong. That’s not to say she hasn’t worked hard. As Wong writes, Jenner is now one of the most famous models working today, and one of the most popular magazine cover models according to Models.com.
“I would look through my mother’s fashion magazines and dream of making that my reality,” Jenner says, pointing out some of her role models, including Claudia Schiffer.
Like her siblings, including older sister Kim Kardashian West, she refuses to complain. “I would never in a million years complain about what’s been given to me. This is my dream … I’m incredibly blessed.”
