Arsene Wenger Reveals His Worst-ever Moment As Arsenal Boss
Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has revealed his worst moment was loss against Manchester United last season.
Arsenal were defeated by Manchester United last season 3-2 at the Old Trafford at a time when the Gunners were aiming to fight for the League titles with Leicester city and Tottenham hostpurs. Teenage-wonder, Marcus Rashford scored twice to help the Red Devils beat Arsenal which Wenger has revealed as one of his worst moments since he became Arsenal boss.
The Frenchman told Sky Sports: One of the worst moments was last year when we lost at Manchester United.
‘It was the moment where you felt the championship is lost. It was a game we couldn’t afford to lose and not to turn up on the day, you wonder ‘what did I do wrong there? What didn’t work?’ It was a game we were expected to win, absolutely. We had to win it but I felt, more than losing the game, we were just not at the races on the day.
Arsenal are set to face Burnley on Sunday at the Turf Moor.
