Ex-Minister Of Environment Under Jonathan, Laraba Mallam And Her Husband Kidnapped By Gunmen.

A former minister of environment under Jonathan’s administration, Laurencia Laraba Mallam, and her husband, Pius, have been abducted by armed gunmen along the Abuja-Kaduna road.

The incident occurred on Monday at about 7:00pm in Jere, Kagarko local government area of Kaduna state.

Mallam and her 73-year-old husband were returning to Kaduna from Abuja when they ran into the hoodlums who blocked the Abuja Expressway.
A family source confirmed the incident, saying the kidnappers demanded a N10 million ransom for their release.
