New Born Baby With Umbilical Cord Still Attached Found Dead.

The body of a day-old baby with an umbilical cord still attached has been reportedly found dead in Isoko South Local Government Area of Delta State.



Reports stated that the lifeless body of  the baby was abandoned in a bush path along the Odoro Road area of the community.
Commuters plying the route who rushed to the scene to take a look at the dead baby noted that they heard a baby crying at night and it was a shocking scene in the early hours of Friday when a lifeless baby was later discovered.

One of the villagers who spoke with newsmen noted that the body of the baby fell out of a polyethene bag placed atop a heap of building blocks.

”Some persons in the neighbourhood said they heard the baby crying throughout the night, but that they could not come out  for fear of the unknown.”
