OH MY GOD: Nigerians on Social Media attack Hon Hembe over dishonorable comments on Twitter.

Days after the suspension of Abdulmumin Jibrin, former chairman of the Appropriation Committee by his colleagues in the House of Representatives for a year over his insistence that the 2016 budget was padded by the leadership of the House, Nigerians for hours on Sunday engaged Herman Hembe, a member, in a bitter war on social media platform- twitter, accusing the lawmakers of failing to investigate the various allegations made before slamming a guilty charge on the whistleblower.

Jibrin who insists he would not apologise, had on Saturday also alleged that his colleagues were blackmailed with millions of Naira they collected illegally on a monthly basis, by House Speaker Yakubu Dogara.

Hembe, chairman, Committee on the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), who as head of the Capital Market Committee was accused by then Director-General of the Securities & Exchange Commission (SEC) of receiving N5 million for a training abroad without attending or making a refund was on the firing line on Sunday.

In one tweet, Hembe was asked why the legislators did not take the pain to “investigate the issues raised (by Jibrin), but (were) so swift in suspending (the whistleblower).”

They expressed hope that the Petroleum Industry Bill (PIB), which has not been passed after several years and now gathering dust attracts similar swiftness as that of Jibrin.

?Things got so uptight that one tweet noted: “In a sane society characters like these (lawmakers) won’t come close to being counselors.?”

In apparent anger at the public interest in what should otherwise be an internal matter in the House, Hembe fired back:

“You can occupy all the NASS (National Assembly) you want, that won’t help him (Jibrin) nor you. Might actually help some of you who haven’t a job to do. Here’s to brighter days.”

With tempers rising, one tweet said in displeasure:
“They are now daring Nigerians. A Rawlings is coming very soon.

Another quipped:
“You (Hembe) lack moral right to talk, SEC (Aruma Oteh’s) money collected was siphoned… it is still fresh in our memory.”

?Yet another wondered: “I can’t believe this is coming from a Lawmaker. Nigeria is in trouble.”

For yet another:

“Just look at the minds we elected to make laws for our country. God help us… Yet in Nigeria, he’s on his second term or third who knows… another set of “governance miss road” lawmaker. What did we Nigerians do to deserve you lot?

“… shameful coming from a Rep. What kind of characters are these? I thought the Aruma Oteh issue was isolated but this guy is all that and more?,” yet another stressed.

Others simply used unprintable words while insisting that Hembe (@Hembrix) belongs to the gutters with “no place in a civilized society” and the Reps as “#HouseOfRouges.”

“Those NASS members are mad sha o. But this @Hembrix is another level of Madness. Did we offend God in Nigeria?

This was just as yet another called for a “psychiatric evaluation of members of the House of Reps

On the Jibrin suspension, Hembe was reminded: “Nigerians knows what binds you guys together is corruption and not nationalism. Jibrin has done his part for posterity.”

From another:
“People like Hembe deserve to work as NURTW (National Union of Road Transport Workers), not NASS members.”

As the exchange continued, Hembe was challenged to publish his curriculum vitae to: “Let us see what the hell you are apart from a dishonorable cretin…

?”I wonder what these guys think they are. We create tin gods and we suffer…Best brains led by cretins.”

For those questioning his membership of the House, Hembe said: ?”Trust me, I’m everything your parents hoped in vain you would be?.”
And then, “why don’t you try to get voted in once, just once?”

Meanwhile after sharing another post on twitter ,people still attacked him over dishonorable comments he made concerning a proposed Occupy NASS protest........This is really dishonorable......He needs to grow,he talks bad at people but hates to be criticized,And to think that he wants to be the Governor come May 2023!!!!
