CHILD TRAFFICKING:Woman caught trafficking under aged children from Opirikwu Ito. Photos.

A Facebook user posted pictures of a woman alleged to be a child  trafficker. This is what he posted below.
Click to read.

The pictures below is about a lady from Opirikwu Ito who is into child trafficking, ferrying under aged children from the village to South- Western part of Nigeria for God knows what she did with them there.

As I was returning from Makurdi to Itakpa -Ito yesterday November 3, 2016, an Officer of NSCDC and I met a lady with two under aged children in a taxi and in the course of interaction, we discovered that they were returning from the South-West. When the NSCDC Officer asked to know why they left school, the lady who led them retorted saying "did I carry your children?" This action prompted the officer in question to call his office at Obarike, to be at alert to arrest the suspected lady involved in children trafficking.

Pictures, they say, don't lie.
Picture 1 showing the lady trafficker who, on noticing that I was trying to take her picture, hid her face and refused to disclose her identity. She hails from Opirikwu Ito in Obi LGA.
Picture 3 shows the NSCDC official questioning the mother of one of the under aged children standing carrying a child the mother held while waiting for her by the road side at Okpokwu Ito. She gave her name as Joy Ezekiel ( the victim's name)
Picture 2 shows the second victim, whose age is estimated to be between 13 and 14 disclosed that she was taken from Ugbodom in Ikwokwu council ward of Obi LGA.
I could not accompany them to Obarike where security personnel promised to report the matter.
One striking thing about the whole incident was that the lady trafficker was rather boastfully calling some men alluding that she was being harassed by us that challenged her action.
From the interaction with the mother of Joy Ezekiel, one of the victims who is about 12 years of age, she attributed their actions to the current economic hardship.
I wish to call on the relevant authorities to try to put necessary measures to cushion the effects of the current economic meltdown.
