EFCC releases Reuben Abati from detention

Premium Times has reported that the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission has released Reuben Abati, former spokesperson to ex- president Goodluck Jonathan.

Abati confirmed his release on Saturday, November 5 morning and said he was staying somewhere in Abuja at the moment.

Abati had reported at EFCC office in Abuja on October 21 after he received an invitation from the agency to explain his part as an alleged beneficiary of fraud. He was subsequently detained.
