The City of  Makurdi is usually shutdown on every Christmas with the  biggest comedy show ''Christmas Live In Benue.
It went down as usual on Tuesday 27 December 2016 at The Dream Centre with I Go Die,Osama, Pastor Nicodemus,Mallam ,Adakole Rapidzo and others.
Event had many dignitaries in attendance including fmr Deputy Gov Steve Lawani,House of Reps member Dickson Tarkighr,State Assembly member Hon.Ngunan Addingi,Gov's SSAs Mark Hanmation and Baba Acka,Pastor Abel & Anita Uloko ,among others.
