He is hard at work cleaning your mess. He is not perfect and the process is what it is. To get out the dirt the cloth must be soaked in water, soap applied on it, it must be scrubbed, squeezed and then rinsed. At this stage if the cloth were human and could feel pain for sure there could be some wailing and complaining. Even when it is left in the sun to dry it takes a while and relies on other factors like mother nature holding back her rain.

Because it is rumpled he will apply heat on it to iron out the roughness then you have your brand new Nigeria. This is the process of fixing things and those who start blaming as soon as the dirty flag is dipped in water either live in denial that the flag was ever dirty or do not understand the process or are simply not being fair to the "Washerman".
