4 areas I would have performed better than Buhari – KOWA party presidential candidate Remi Sonaiya

The presidential candidate for the 2015 general election for KOWA party Remi Sonaiya has highlighted issues of governance she would have handled differently if she had been elected as a president.

Remi Sonaiya said she would have done many differently if she was elected president

Sonaiya, the only female candidate in the 2015 presidential election said she would have done better than the present administration.

Speaking in an interview with Premium Times, the 2015 female presidential aspirant listed four things she would have done differently as a president.

See list below:

1. Selecting cabinet members:

“Of course, I would have done better by God’s help. For example, I would have consulted widely in selecting members of my cabinet, so that we would get the best people to manage our affairs in different sectors.”

2. Nations interest over party’s

“Party considerations would not have been primary; the interest of the country would have been.”

3. Preparation for inauguration

“And I would have gotten the cabinet in place before my inauguration, so that we would really hit the ground running.”

4. Senate screening of cabinet nominees

“It’s strange to nominate people for ministerial positions and not have them assessed by the Senate on their competence in specific areas.
