Federal Government Will Complete Jos Inland Dry Port In June –Chibuike Amaechi. [PHOTOS].

The Honourable Minister of Transportation, Rt. Hon. Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi has expressed the Federal Government's preparedness in completing the Jos Inland Dry Port located in Heipang, Barkin Ladi Local Government of Plateau State in June, 2017.

The Minister gave the assurance yesterday in Jos, after inspecting the ongoing work at the site of the project which has a land mass of 33.7 hectares and a capacity to handle 20,000 containers.

He said the Heipang Jos Dry Port project was among the six gazetted projects granted approval by the Federal Executive Council in 2006 and the 20, 000 facility was concessioned to Duncan Maritime Service being the proponent with most responsive bid.
