Gov Ortom's supporters throng Abuja Airport to receive him on arrival from South Africa. PHOTOS.


Benue State Governor, Samuel Ortom, this morning arrived the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja as head of an economic delegation to Cape Town, South Africa a week ago.
The trip was on the invitation of AidTrade Foundation.
A statement signed by SA medua,Tahav Agevzua,Governor Ortom and the delegation participated in bilateral discussions on agriculture, mining, aquaculture, education and other aspects of the economy while in Cape Town.

Those who accompanied him were the Chairman, State Economic Team and Education Commissioner, Professor Dennis Ityavyar, Chairman, Benue State House of Assembly Committee on Agriculture and Natural Resources, Mr James Gbande, Commissioner for Finance, Mr David Olofu and Commissioner for Agriculture and Natural Resources, Mr James Anbua among others.


The South African aircraft the delegation boarded touched down at the airport at about 4.35 am.










Top government officials including the Director of the Benue State Liaison Office Abuja, Mr Sam Orchir, as well as supporters received him on arrival.
Governor Ortom fielded questions from journalists at the airport.
