Hillary & Bill Clinton Are Attending Donald Trump's Inauguration!
Donald Trump has been struggling to get stars to appear at his upcoming inauguration later this month, with A-listers left and right refusing to perform at his presidential celebration.
Though he won't be rubbing elbows with the likes of Beyoncé and Jay Z, the President-election managed to get one high profile couple to attend the event.
That's right! As if Trump's inauguration couldn't get more awkward, his former election rival and her former President husband are attending, both their aids confirmed to CNN on Tuesday.
We can't imagine HRC will speak at Trump's swear-in, but we're sure she'd like to get in a few jabs about winning the popular vote by almost 3 million ballots.
However, the Clintons won't be the only former White House couple in attendance, as former President George W. Bush and Laura Bush will also join the ceremony!
Their rep confirmed in a statement:
"President and Mrs. George W. Bush will attend the 58th Presidential Inauguration Ceremony on January 20, 2017, at the U.S. Capitol in Washington, D.C. They are pleased to be able to witness the peaceful transfer of power a hallmark of American democracy -- and swearing-in of President Trump and Vice President Pence."
Bush's father, former President George H.W. Bush (who reportedly voted for Clinton in the election) will not be attending due to his health, a spokesman told CNN.
We're happy the Clintons agreed to attend the event after such a heated election season to promote unity though we're sure Trump would rather have his BFF Vladimir Putin in the crowd cheering him on! Ha!
