Nigeria Customs Service joins global customs to mark INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMS DAY.[PHOTOS]

The Nigeria Customs Service yesterday joined the global customs community to mark the International Customs Day (ICD) held annually on 26 January. The celebration, held at the Customs Command and Staff College Gwagwalada Abuja, centred on the theme for this year: Data Analysis for Effective Border Management.

The event featured various activities including the presentation of WCO awards to some institutions and customs officers who made exceptional contributions to successful customs operations. In attendance were stakeholders which includes the Federal Ministry of Finance, Central Bank of Nigeria, NAFDAC, SON, NDLEA, the Nigerian Army, Nigerian Navy, Nigerian Air Force amongst others.
