Senate President Bukola Saraki rejects water offered to him by CCT chairman

On Tuesday, January 17, the Senate President Bukola Saraki rejected a water offer made to him by the chairman of the Code of Conduct Tribunal Danladi Umar.

Saraki is currently facing trial before Umar over false declaration of his asset while he was a governor in Kwara state.

During the trial at the tribunal, the CCT chairman had asked Saraki who was docked if needed water.

“Do you want some water?” Umar asked.

But a shocked Senate President replied: “No.”

Umar continued in his kind gesture: “You are okay?”

The Senate President who insisted he was alright said nodded in affirmation.
