Ugly Moment in Benue When a Man Beat a Little Boy To Death

A Bloody War Between Benue Communities Averted.
The intervention of Engr. Benson Abounu, the Deputy Governor of Benue State and George Alli who led the men of the Nigeria Police and the Civil Defence, avert what could have been a big war between the Agatu and Otukpo communities.
It was gathered that an Adoka-Icho man beat an Agatu boy to death. Upon hearing this, the Agatu people took the war to Adoka-Icho community. It finally took the intervention of the police and the Civil Defence who were mobilized to the scene by the SOLAD with the support of the Deputy Governor to avert what could have been heavily bloody.
