Apostle Suleman Reacts : I Did Not Promise That Lady Marriage, She Is A Blackmailer
Apostle Johnson Suleman of Omega Fire Ministries reacted to an online vogue story about a lady, Stephanie Otobo, who allegedly slept with her and promised her marriage to call her a blackmailer.
The pastor has stepped away from the arrest and detention of Stéphanie Otobo by the police on Friday 3 March 2017 about the alleged blackmail.
In a statement by its communications director Phrank Shaibu, the pastor said there was no loving relationship between Stephanie and himself, including a promise to marry her.
According to Shaibu, the lady would have been arrested by agents acting on a tip out that she had repeatedly tried to make Suleman sing, including demanding N500m from him, failing which she threatened to expose an alleged love relationship Between her and the pastor.
A lawyer, Festus Keyamo, reportedly asked N500m on behalf of the lady and also accused the apostle Suleman of allegedly procuring policemen to intimidate her and detain her illegally after promising to marry her.
Shaibu said Festus Keyamo was misled into believing that there was a relationship between Apostle Suleman and Stephanie, adding that the lady was “caught up in her own machinations as she was arrested trying to pull out the” Money paid into his account by the church in a sting Operation coordinated by the police “
