DEATH OF STUDENT: University of Abuja Students block Airport Road to Protest (PHOTOS)

On Monday, some students of the University of Abuja blocked the famous and ever busy airport road in order to protest the death of a female student. This act has turned out to be a serious gridlock on that road.
The student who is said to be in 200 level and name is not yet known, was reported to have been knocked down by a driver on Sunday night while she was evading some robbers.
Sources have stated that the incident took place in front of the university’s permanent site gate.
The students who are protesting came out in the hundreds, and also blamed the school authority and the Federal Government for not providing pedestrian bridges, to hinder such accident.
As at the time of filing this report, the management of the school is yet to make any comments about the incident.
